Halloween Candy Buy Back Program

Thank you to all of our patients and the community for making our 1st annual Treats for Troops a success! We filled an inflatable pool with all the candy we collected and as a result have over five large containers shipping out this week to our troops! Jim & Justin Wojdyla’s special performance on our beautiful 70 degree day was the icing on the cake! Participants enjoyed weighing the candy, tossing it in our “Candy Platoon Lagoon”, crawling on the Army Humvee, making cards for the troops and playing games sponsored by NASA Education, an organization for homeless retired Veterans. We were so happy with the response for our first year, patients even brought in candy before and after the event to donate to our troops! Keep checking our website for more events to come and plans for next year’s Treats for our Troops. |
